Microsoft Plus! Dancer is a desktop entertainment add-on from Microsoft Corporation that brings animated 3D characters to your screen. The dancers move in sync with your music, reacting to the rhythm from Windows Media Player or other system audio. You can choose from different performers, place them anywhere on the desktop, resize them, adjust transparency, and keep them on top while you work. Designed to be light and fun, Plus! Dancer integrates with Windows Media Player playlists and benefits from Direct3D acceleration for smoother motion. Originally released for Windows XP as part of the Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition family, it is no longer actively supported, and availability of additional downloadable dancers may be limited.
